The great drain game. ( A.K.A a tongue twister)

Hey bloggers, It's me. Today (11.11.2019) we did the great drain game. It was super fun and had 3 activities. Hope you like the post!

- VR/ Wetlands talk
- What I did: We used virtual reality to learn about the waterways and animals. It was cool because there were fish and bird and mountains. In the wetlands talk we learned about how the wetlands filter our water and slow it down. There was a scaled down model of the wetlands and we poured dirty & muddy water in and cleaner water came out!
- Things I learnt: I learnt that wetland slow down water and clean it.

-School drain locations
-What I did: We walked around the school and marked off a the drains in the school (nearley)
- What I learnt: That there are over 20 drains in our school! Also 5 of them were really close to the senior playground

-Scaled down model of a city (kind of)
-What I did: We got given small plastic bottles with items in them and we had to put them next to either a drain, a toilet, a sink and a bin. If it was put in the drain it flowed straight into a river if it was from the house like a toilet or sink it went into the wastewater treatment plant to get cleaned. The stuff from the bin stayed in the bin.
-What I learned: 1 cigarette butt contaminates 7 liters of water if it gets in the ocean
