Choose Tuesday

Hi Bloggers, 

Yesterday we had our first Choose Tuesday session. I have fantasy terrain craft. We painted sand that was stuck on cardboard brown to look like dirt. Next week we are going to paint it green. Then we went outside to look for twigs with lots of "branches". We cellotaped them together then globbed on heaps of glue. Next week we're going to paint it.  I had heaps of fun and I can't wait for next week!

I hope I can make maybe a goblin village or something like that for my personal project!

Birds

Hi bloggers, 

Today Ms Best came in to talk to us about native birds like tui and kereru. She came in because for green week we are learning about birds. 3 things I learned is that  

The kererus job is to eat berries and poop them out!

The possums fur is super soft and that's why people bought them to nz. so they could catch them for clothes

Tui's pollinate flowers by getting pollen on their faces
