  1. Mōrena Saana, I hope you are having a fantastic day!

My name is Eliza and I’m working as a blog commenter on the Summer Learning Journey this summer. Have you done the Summer Learning Journey before? I’m looking forward to reading your posts and the other bloggers' posts from the Ako Hiko cluster, over the next few weeks! If you want to know more about me, you can check out my blog.

First of all, I'm so glad you enjoyed creating the Lorde poster, it really shows! I like the blue background with the black writing - it's clear and easy to read. Well done on using both pictures and writing - this makes it more effective. Your facts are interesting too - I didn't know Lorde had a dog named Pearl. Were there any other facts you learned about Lorde, that you didn’t use on your blog? And if you were to make the poster again, what would you do differently?

I actually went to the same school as Lorde and we lived on the same street for a little while, she is one year younger than me. She is a really nice person and I remember her always being very talented at school. Do you have a favourite Lorde song?

I hope that you will keep blogging with us over the summer. Keep working on the teaser week activities and on the 16th of December you can start the Week 1 activities.

Thank you for making a brilliant blog post and keep up the great mahi!
    Eliza :)

    1. Hi Eliza,
Thank you very much for your comment. I can't believe that you used to live on the same street as Ella (Lorde's real name)!

Thank you for the feedback on how it looks, I'll make sure to keep doing it so my information is easy to read. My favorite Lorde song is Royals, whats yours?

There were a few facts I didn't include because I tryed adding them but it made the google drawing look cramped and hard to read. Some of them were:
Her first record deal was offered to her when she was 13 and She's a high school dropout!

  2. Kia ora Saana,

Thanks for your reply! That's okay, i'm really enjoying reading and commenting on these awesome blogs. My favourite song of hers in probably green light, it's so catchy!

That's good that you didn't add the extra facts then, you don't want your work to look cramped.

    Have a great day,
    Eliza :)
